And has given a great support and excellent administration,for every classes and sectors.He has set a benchmark for serving the poor and extended his populist schemes, even if it drained the state exchequer in different styles.it is a great and remarkable success to him,runnig the government efficiently,within the tenure of five years and three months.
He set his own level,which filled extremely in the hearts of andhra people. Y.S.R. the only leader who has the charisma in the state.In other terms we can say,He is a trademark of Andhra pradesh.
It was the time of tough battle (2004 Elections). when Y.S.R. took the charge of congress party on his shoulders, He was the only hope for high command to form the congress government in Andhra pradesh.It was not at all, an easy task to build, but y.s.r. was answerable to......, Then the "padhayatra",was undertaken by y.s.r. in 2003.And it continued for 1400 kms, which brought him very close to the poor people who were in poverty and in worst condition. and he has given assurance that he will be with them, and will help them in every possible way , when the congress government comes into force. Finally his efforts lead to form the government with a Tremendous majority. At that time ,the slogan in A.P. was, Y.S.R. is congress / congress is Y.S.R.
Now the power of chief minister has clothed Y.S.R., His governance was ulitimate. The benefits of government programmes usually reach the cadre of ruling party. but y.s.r. made every benefit available for every poor person in the state, including opposition activists.
He is the founder, for building the dams worth 80,000 crores, and schemes such as, free power, all the needy students in the state could access fee reimbursement, loans for telugu adapaduchu at 3% intrest and many more...The major two contributions of Y.S.R., which resulted the people establishing a immediate and emotional bond with him, were the Arogyasri, Apathabandav, Health insurance for the poor, 108 service, and also gave from his chief minister's relief fund.
Again it was, the crucial moment for congress in 2009 elections. When all the parties in andhra were merged with each other and the new party was established by chiranjeevi, named praja rajyam.Y.S.R. was alone and strong enough to face them. All the parties have promised about many things and released their manifesto's. But Y.S.R. was away from all these things, he stood before the people with what ever programmes he implemented in last Five years. Again he formed the government effortelessly and retained the power.Even the cine glamour didn't worked against Y.S.R. Now you can acess how great he Is !! After retaining the power, he showed signs of correction, be it in administration or within himself. He established a programme called "Rachabanda", known as an effective delivery mechanism to translate government promises into reality. But fate didnot give him the time.
THE BLACK DAY
It was 2nd september,where all the eyes were glued to television sets,when scrolling displayed ,Y.S.R. was missing......., officials were worried about the loss of radar contact with the helicopter for a long time, even the people in andhra were much worried about .But every one hoped that Y.S.R. is safe and will come soon.prayers for safety of missing y.s.rajashekar reddy have been started in the nation.
And the 'govt of india', launched one of the largest search and rescue operations ever in the histroy of the country, and the sources from the state,total 11 choppers pressed into service to intensify search operation.The 'Home ministry of India', dispatched 5000 CRPF soldiers in operation,and fourteen battalions of the state police,several parties of greyhounds were sent to ground operation.

The (NRSA)National remote sensing agengy,ISRO and RISAT-2 satellites were also diployed to search the area ,while the INDIAN AIR FORCE was ordered by the 'Defense ministry of India', to comb the area by using low altitude planes and the SUKHOI-30MKI Air superiority fighter jet with synthetic aperture radar for high resolution ground mapping.

A massive search operation have been fully geared by both the central and state governments.All the state and central forces were on alert ,at the moment.At other hand,The local tribal residents from Nallamala part of the state assisted with the search mission.But still,The Cheif minister of andhra pradesh Dr. Y.S.Rajashekar reddy was untraceable.Everyone believed that the chopper might have been forced to land in some inaccessible area due to bad weather and the authorities were hoping the same.
THE DISASTER
Finally the wreckage of the helicopter was spotted by an Indian Air Force.But things were different and all went in vain,unfortunately the worst fears have come true.Nobody could admit the horrible breaking news,that y.s.r. was taken into the hands of almighty.Hearing the news of his sudden demise,many hearts were broken as the part of the tragedy.pleople were unable to bear the fact and reacted emotionally and physically,which resulted atleast 455 people to die allegedly due to heart attack and by committing suicide in grief.

An unprecedented Grief and sorrow swept across andhra pradesh and much over the country with the tragic death of Y.S.R.,It is a huge loss for the Nation, which can never be filled by anyone else.The national flag flew at half mast in andhra pradesh.Lakhs of people in the nation, 'never ever', gathered like this before, who moved with a tearful farewell ,The funeral cortege snaked its way through surging crouds.The national leaders and the politains from the neighbouring states mourned and payed their last respect to our beloved leader Dr.y.s.rajashekar reddy.
But at my point of veiw,There is no end for such a great humanitarian Y.S.R.,He may not be present in physical structure, But his deeds lies along with us and Remains forever in the every hearts of andhra who has given the breath & hope for poor people to live. And no doubt, he will be a role model to all generations. hence i believe that, we the future of the nation will take the intiative to carry farword his desires for uplifting the poor in every possible way from the best of our efforts.
